So you have found yourself here at Gutmunchers.com.  This has been a long time coming and is something that I’ve worked very hard on.  My goal is to provide some entertainment thru our comic strip, as well as be a useful resource thru our movie reviews.  I plan on reviewing everything from horror, exploitation, sci-fi to action movies and cult films.  Basically anything that I think is cool and fun.  So again I hope you enjoy what we are doing and if you have any suggestions please feel free to drop us an email

The Latest News and Site stuff...

January 4th, 2012

2012 is here and I’m pretty damn excited about it.  I have a super secret project that I’m working on.  If it pans out I’ll let you guys know later on in the year (though it might be 2013 until I’ll know for sure...).

Many of you might have noticed that I didn’t update the site for a couple of weeks.  No worries I was just busy with work and then the holidays.  I’m back with 4 new movie reviews for 3 on a Meathook, 2012 Zombie Apocalypse (have to love those Asylum movies), from Synapse we get Gurozuka, and finally I review Futurama volume 6.  You can see I’ve been busy watching movies.

If all these quality reviews aren’t enough for you I also have a new comic for you to enjoy.  We are really starting off the new year right here at Gutmunchers.com.  I figure the enery and excitement should last until at least February.  :)

Before I go I hope that all you guys and gals got lots of cool stuff for Christmas and had a happy New Year.  And I hope to see you at Wasteland this year!

Yeah I know that I’ve been really bad with posting here to the site.  With the holidays coming up and work stuff I’ve just not had the time.  So yet again I will have to ask for your guys’ forgiveness and try to do better.

With that in mind we have new reviews for Supervan, Scream and Scream Again, Scream (the slasher from 1981), and finally Scream of the Banshee.  With the exception of Supervan I had a hole theme going on.  Yeah I’m awesome.  Heck we also have a new comic posted to the site as well.

Now if all this weren’t enough I’ve got a new featured article coming.  I do love a good list and this time around I talk about the 5 movies that I really wish hadn’t been made.  Might be a few surprises in there.

That is all I have for right now, but again I promise to do better and be back soon with more news.

Holy Crap!!!  I can die a happy man now...

Me standing in the mines.  Very surreal experience.

Lori Cardille is the best!  I’ve never met a nicer celebrity in all my years as a horror nerd.

This is Scott Goldberg and I.  Someone needs to hook Scott up with the money to make some features.  Very talented guy.

Thanks to the now defunct Casa Negra company I’ve had the chance to check out some great old Mexican horror flicks.  The Black Pit of Dr. M is one of them.  If you get the chance you have to check it out.

This is George the sock monkey and Gutmuncher.com’s mascot.  For more about his origins click here.
