Episode 22 - January 2010
First show of the new year and we start it off with a bang. Adrienne King, star of Friday the 13th stops by for an interview. Then John and Matt review a couple of Cronenberg flicks Naked Lunch and A History of Violence.
Episode 23 - January 2010
We continue 2010 with some great interviews. Here in episode 23 we have the legendary Ted V. Mikels on the show! Also John and Ed finally get around to the Cat III show they have been talking about. Top it off with another installment of Sensei Cinema and some Super Bowl picks!
Episode 24 - February 2010
William Butler of Night of the Living Dead 90 as well as a ton of other credits stops by for an interview. Also Matt stops by and with John reviews 3 classics (I Walked with a Zombie, Cat People, and Body Snatchers) from the Val Lewton collection.
Episode 25 - February 2010
Steve joins John as a special co-host of episode 25. We are going to talk a bit about three of Hammer horror flicks from the 1950s. Also Carol Speed joins us again for another interview. Carol was our first interview and still is one of my favorite people. She lets us know what she has been up to in the year since we last talked to her.

Jason Rutherford, director of the upcoming documentary on grindhouse films Masters of the Grind, joins John and Ed for an interview. Then John and Ed review 3 classic Bava flicks from the 60s, The Girl that Knew too Much, Black Sabbath, and Black Sunday. Also the latest member of the Gutmunchers family Jerry Horror reports in for his very first segment on the show!
Episode 27 - March 2010
This is another epic 3 hour plus show for you guys. First of all we are joined by comic book artist, horror fan, and all around cool guy Jason Craig. He is a great interview. Then John and Ed talk about 3 classic Dan Curtis TV flicks, The Night Stalker, The Night Stranger, and The Norliss Tapes. If that weren’t enough we also have the second segment of Jerry Horror’s Hangout. Like I said this is a pretty epic show.
Episode 28 - March 2010
Another big show for you guys. First up we have a killer interview with industry insider, horror fan, and writer for Films in Review David Del Valle. Then John is joined by staff writers Jeremy and Scott as they discuss the latest from Tim Burton, Alice in Wonderland. Jason stops by to sign off from Japan and talk about his future. We have another installment of Jerry Horror’s Hangout where he talks some Chopping Mall. And finally John and Ed discuss the upcoming Cinema Wasteland convention.
Episode 29 - April 2010
Another fun show for you guys. FIrst up we have the interview with drive-in/exploitation movie legend Gary Kent. Gary has been in such great flicks as Schoolgirls in Chains and Satan’s Sadists. Then John, Ed, Steve, and Jason report in from the Spring 2010 Cinema Wasteland show. If that weren’t enough for you board member and new contributor to the show Chip stops by for his first in what I hope are many segments on VHS collecting.
Episode 30 - April 2010
After the Cinema Wasteland fun we return to our normal format. First up we have an interview with Courtney Gains from Children of the Corn and many many other great films. Then Jason returns to the show to review Candyman and Sleepwalkers with John. If this weren’t enough Jerry Horror drops by for another installment of the hangout.

With the passing of David Durston, who was our scheduled guest for the show, we decided to do something different. There will be no reviews or normal segments on this episode. Instead it will be just the interview that Ed and I conducted with David before his death.
Episode 32 - May 2010
We lead off the show with an interview with actor Alf Humphreys (My Bloody Valentine, Rambo First Blood, and a ton of other credits!). Then we follow that up with the long delayed next installment of Sensei Cinema and hit you with a new segment called Movie Night with the Guys. If that weren’t enough fun for you guys Ed and John also review My Bloody Valentine (1981) and Django! We even get around to talking some NBA... Not sure how that happened.

Tim Ritter, director of many low budget independent flicks from the 80s (as well as 90s and today!) stops by to talk about his movies and what it was like getting them distributed to the Mom and Pop video stores back in the day. Since we are on the subject of independent movies John and Ed review a couple of flicks from Greg Lamberson, Slime City and Naked Fear. If that isn’t enough for you guys we have another installment of Movie Night with the guys.

We have a great guest on this episode of the show. Drive-in and Exploitaiton legend Greydon Clark stops by to chat about some of his movies. Then John and Ed talk a bit about Clark’s Black Shampoo as well as Black Dynamite. Sensei Steve also stops by to talk to John about some cool import DVDs from England. If that isn’t enough for you guys we have another installment of Movie Night with the guys.

Belinda Balaski from the Howling and Piranha stops by for an interview. Also John and Ed review a couple of werewolf flicks, The Howling and the classic Universal flick the Wolf Man. As a special bonus Ken Daniels from the Fright Night FIlm Fest stops by to talk about the upcoming convention.
Episode 36 - July 2010
In this episode we interview screenwriters Matthew Chernov and David Rosiak. Then we get a Convention report from staff members Jason and Seth who attended the recent Famous Monsters convention. John and Ed then review the three latest zombie flicks from George Romero, Land, Diary, and Survival of the Dead. If that weren’t enough we have another installment of movie night with the guys where we watched Poultrygeist and Pieces.

This time around we feature an interview with independent filmmaker Glen Baisley. Then John and Ed tackle their first franchise when they discuss the Friday the 13th flicks. If that weren’t enough we have another installment of Movie Night with the guys.
Episode 38 - August 2010
This is our Fright Night Filmfest show. We have a report from Seth and Jason about the show and a very special interview Seth conducted with director Albert Pyun (Dollman, Cyborg). Also John and Ed will finally review a pair of little know classics Turkey Shoot and Raw Force.
Episode 39 - August 2010
We interview director John Gulager and talk about Feast and Project Greenlight, as well as many other things. Then John and Ed review a couple of fun flicks from the ‘70s when they take a look at Bay of Blood and Grave of the Vampire.
Episode 40 - September 2010
First up is an interview with actor John Amplas, who starred in Martin and Day of the Dead. Then John and Ed take a look at Martin, as well as the Greg Lamberson directed, Martin inspired movie Undying Love.

We do a little something different with this episode. Ed and John talk about this past weekend’s Horror Realm convention and then talk about next weekends Cinema Wasteland. They also review the new Blu-Ray release of The Return of the Living Dead. Oh and if that isn’t enough for you we have an interview with independent filmmaker Greg Lamberson.

This time around we have a fun interview for you guys with James Glickenhaus. Also we are premiering a new segment with staff member Seth Moore. But the really fun part will be the cool audio that we record at Cinema Wasteland. That is as long as nothing falls off my car this time... (and it didn’t)

This is our big Halloween show. First up we have a great interview with the writer and creator of the Dark Night of the Scarecrow, J.D. Feigelson. Then John and Ed review a couple of Halloween treats for everyone. First up is Dark Night of the Scarecrow (makes sense right?) and then we will talk about Trick r Treat. And as if this weren’t enough Jason stops by to talk conventions and Halloween!

The November show features a conversation with actor Sy Richardson. Then Ed and John review both Alien and Aliens from the killer new Blu-Ray box set.
Episode 45 - December 2010
This show features and interview with the legendary Robert Dix (click the link to the left to check out his book). If that weren’t enough Ed and John are in the holiday spirit and chat about some of their favorite Christmas related genre flicks. Also Captain Seth is back with another segment starring a special guest.

This is it guys. On the last episode of the Gutmunchers podcast we interview another legend John “Bud” Cardos. Also John and Ed will reflect back on the good and the bad that was the 2 year run of the Gutmunchers podcast.
