Dark Secrets (2008)
The daughter of a famous actress and racecar driver ends up disappearing without a trace one day. Detective Farrell and Detective Radcliffe are assigned to the case and charged with finding out what happened to the 11 year old girl. As they are investigating the case, Detective Farrell starts having these weird little visions that mostly involve a creepy little girl popping out of nowhere and then disappearing when he looks back. You find out that Farrell had been involved in some sort of bad car accident that is haunting him as well and have to wonder if he's just having flashes because of that traumatic experience. After a while of investigating and getting nowhere, Farrell takes a bracelet he found to a psychic who has a vision of the little girl all tied up and a guy with a pipe in his hand approaching her menacingly. Apparently this is enough of a lead to help Farrell to make some more progress in the case and eventually solve the mystery.
I had a hard time following this movie. Part of the reason couldn't follow it well may be that the audio was very muffled, I don't know if this was just on the copy I received or if that's just how all the copies of this movie are. Also they seemed to skip scenes or sections of scenes and you had to guess at what happened in them. There isn't much else that stands out about the movie. It's just not that great. There was a kind of neat part where the little girls ghost killed the guy who killed her, but that lasted about 5 seconds all told.
I'm not a fan of this movie and though I watched the whole thing and it doesn't seem that complicated of a plot I still don't understand everything that happened in it. MTI has released better movies and I suggest you try them out before watching this.
